Chico Stage Race

This years Stage Race was most excellent. Podium in Sight came out and got some nice footage and photographs. The Chico Stage Race began this year with a circuit race of Thunderhill raceway in willows. Stage 2 was a 40-90mi road race in Paskenta, following some of the course for the Paskenta Road Race that is hosted by one of Chico's baddest mothers Rodney Cox. Stage 3 and 4 were held on Sunday being a Time Trial down river road and the Downtown Criterium. I managed to get a few rolls of the mens and womens P/1/2 crit. There was a crash in the mens race, however I missed it to quaff a few beers at Burgers & Brew. The square downtown was packed with teams and booths. The parking lots in downtown Chico were packed with team buses and cars. It was a pretty rad thing to see in such a small town. I will upload some of my snaps when I get the film developed. In the mean time here are pictures of Stage 1, Stage 2, and some shamelessly stolen videos from Podium:
